One of the most crucial armor components, the front skid takes the blunt of rock bashes, impacts when bottoming out, and general abuse when off pavement. With that in mind, we've built a front skid that stands up to the punishment of trail life!
Constructed of .185" steel with welded gussets, and features an oil filter access door with countersunk holes for bolts a welded backing plate for durability.
These are offered in raw steel with no coating. Customer is responsible for painting or coating (we recommend spray paint for easy touch-ups in the future.)
Three to four week lead time on new orders.
Fits 2003-2009 4Runners (non KDSS) and 2006-2009 FJ Cruisers.
The skid may need longer bolts in the front to fit V8 models and will not line up with the oil filter or drain on V8s.
Will also work with Lexus GX470.
