Fire Resistant PT is braided from 10 mil polyethylene terephthalate (PET) monofilament yarns. The material has a wide operating temperature range, is resistant to chemical degradation, UV radiation, and abrasion.
The addition of an organic combustion inhibitor to our standard polyethylene terepthalate gives FR an Underwriters Lab and CSA flame resistance rating of VW-1. Wire Wrapped in Black with Neon Green Tracer (Diesel) designed for clear circuit identification in Full Size Jeep (SJ) diesel applications.
