Weld-On Jack Points give your jack a dedicated place to mechanically engage, helping reduce the risk of slipping compared with relying on surface contact alone. Once installed, they also make the correct lift point easier to find - so jack placement is faster and more consistent in the garage or on the trail.
The diamond-shaped face allows up to 12 degrees of misalignment, making engagement more forgiving when the jack cannot approach perfectly straight. As the vehicle rises, the design allows natural movement while keeping the jack mechanically connected.
Extra material on the back of each Jack Point can be shaped to match the contour of a suitable chassis or suspension component.

Important Installation Note
Insert the Jack Point into the jack before shaping it. Mark the material extending beyond the face of the jack, then leave an additional 1/8 to 1/4 in. beyond that mark for the weld bead.
Only the material behind this allowance should be shaped. Contact AGM before modifying the Jack Point if you are unsure how much material can safely be removed.
Installation should be completed by an experienced welder or fabricator using a structurally suitable lift-point location.
Jack Point should be positioned/welded such that the front face is vertical at vehicle ride and sides should be perpendicular to ground at vehicle ride height.
