Install Guide
Items you may want to have:
- Detail spray (without wax)
- Microfiber towel or paper towel
- A dish of soapy water (a drop of dish soap in 1-2 cups of water)
- StickerFab Application Fluid (preferred)
- Heat gun or hair dryer
The ideal install temperature (weather) is 75-85F. Do the install in the shade unless it is cooler than 75F. Clean the application area first, and do not use a spray with any type of wax in it.
Wet install is recommended for very novice customers. Use slightly soapy water on the back of the vinyl, which lets you move it around and find the correct alignment. Once aligned, use your fingers to push out the water and air. Use light heat as needed so the overlay does not crease and adheres properly to the OEM emblem.
Custom Designs
While StickerFab caters to a large number of people, it is still possible to customize some orders. Ideas that have broad appeal work best, but if you have artwork, we may be able to do a special print just for you. Themes we can look at include military, patriotic, and other organizations.
