Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Happeseat and how does it work?
The Happeseat is a waterproof car seat cover with a soft microfiber top and a hidden waterproof barrier underneath. It loops over your headrest and drapes across the seating surface, so sweat, water, sand, and moisture stay on the cover instead of soaking into your upholstery. It's built to keep your seat dry and clean after the gym, the beach, the pool, or a sweaty workout.
Will it fit my car?
Yes, in most cases. The Happeseat is a universal fit designed to work with most car, truck, and SUV seats that have a headrest. It measures 48" x 26.5" (122 x 67 cm), which covers the back and bottom of a standard seating surface. As long as your seat has a headrest to anchor it, you're good to go.
How do I install it?
It's a one-click install. Slip the loop at the top over your headrest, let the cover fall over the seat back and cushion, and you're done in seconds. No straps to thread, no tools, and no need to remove your headrest. Taking it off to wash or swap is just as quick.
Is it really waterproof?
Yes. The microfiber you sit on feels soft and dry, but it's backed by a true waterproof barrier that blocks moisture from reaching your seat. Sweat, wet swimsuits, damp towels, and spills are kept off your upholstery, so your seat stays dry underneath.
Is it safe to use with seat-mounted side airbags?
The Happeseat is designed to cover only the seating surface, the part you sit on and lean against. It does not wrap around the outer side bolster of the seat, which is where most seat-mounted side airbags deploy, so it isn't intended to obstruct them. That said, airbag designs vary by vehicle. We recommend checking your owner's manual or with your manufacturer to confirm placement for your specific car before use.
How do I wash and care for it?
The Happeseat is machine washable, so cleanup is easy. For best results:
- Wash on a cool cycle
- Skip the fabric softener (it can reduce absorbency and affect the waterproof backing)
- Air dry or tumble dry low
Following these steps helps the microfiber and waterproof barrier last as long as possible.
Does it slip around while I'm driving?
No. The Happeseat has a non-slip backing that grips your upholstery, and the headrest loop holds the top in place. Together they keep the cover from sliding or bunching up as you get in and out.
Does it cover the whole car or just one seat?
Each Happeseat covers a single seating surface, meaning one seat. If you want to protect more than one seat, simply order one cover per seat.
What colors and size does it come in?
The Happeseat comes in five colors: Black, Sand, Green, Pink, and Silver. There's one universal size, 48" x 26.5" (122 x 67 cm), designed to fit most seats with a headrest.
Where does it ship from and how much is it?
The Happeseat is $34.99 and ships from Tampa, Florida.
What about the warranty and returns?
