Before You Install: Get the Temperature Right
For the best results, install with your vehicle at a comfortable 70–74°F. Run the A/C to cool the cabin, or the heat to warm it slightly. That temperature keeps the slip fluid from drying out too quickly or too slowly, so you have time to position the film and squeegee it out cleanly.
Turn the screen off if your vehicle allows it. A screen that has been on for a while is warm to the touch, and that heat speeds up slip fluid evaporation.
Install tip: small bubbles will disappear on their own over time. Be a little liberal with the application fluid so the film doesn’t grab the screen instantly.
